City Highlights

  • Pickets purchased 20 years ago for the original Eureka Playground will be available for pick-up during the Eureka Decommissioning Ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at South Lakes Park. Thereafter, they will be available for pick up beginning 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12 until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Denton Natatorium.
  • The Denton City Council and Denton Municipal Electric (DME) invite you to a press conference that will announce an exciting initiative, the Renewable Denton Plan.
  • The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has certified the City-sponsored Municipal Setting Designation (MSD) for the 890-acre area
  • Following six public work sessions and three public hearings, the Denton City Council passed the FY 2015-16 Budget and Annual Program of Services on Sept. 15.
